‘P.U.N.K’ Shoot

Model: Callum Jones

Photographer: Simon Fowler

MUA: Mica J Seaby

Creative director: Gina Negus

Designer: Kirie-lea Cussen, The Red Butterflie

Location: The Royal Hotel, Basement.

This look was inspired by punk/ japanese street style - Visual kei, mixing different fabrics, colours and textures. Experimented with exaggerating shapes. Originally this was for my ‘One of the boys’/Androgny college project, but decided to see what it would be like on a guy. (I wore it for the previous shoot). I must say I enjoyed this day, however I have to re-sew the tartan leg of the jeans, because it frayed out of the seam during shooting, but I loved every second!

Vogue UK May 2011[vogue.co.uk]I haven’t been following the hype around the upcoming Royal nuptials too much and I told myself I’d stay away from catching bridal fever - as a mid 20’s woman in a committed relationship, nothing can scare a guy off quite as effectively as bridal fever.  However, it’s hard not to get swept up in the fairytale fantasy of it all with the gorgeous Wedding Belles shoot by Mario Testino for the May 2011 issue of Vogue UK.  My favorite gown is the first one pictured - Elie Saab Haute Couture tulle and lace gown worn by Arizona Muse.  Ahh.. who wouldn’t live happily ever after in these acres of tulle, lace and silk creations?
